# Fees

**Cushion applies strategy-specific fees, divided into two parts:**

**Performance Fees:** These are only applied to the profit portion when a user makes a claim.

**Management Fees:** Applied to the deposited amount, these low fees help maintain the strategy and cover necessary operational costs.
